Switch Between Modes to Handle Different Strapping Jobs
With the unique 3-in-1 tools of the new S-series you can select manual, semi-automatic or automatic operation, simply by selecting the desired mode on the display with the touch of a button. There is no need for another (extra) tool. This function increases efficiency by limiting the downtime needed to switch tools.
Locking of the Tool settings for More Efficiency
The S-series strapping tools allow to lock the settings. If you have plenty of pallets to strap for example or you know you’ll be using the same settings for multiple jobs, you have the option to enter a PIN code and lock the settings so they are not inadvertently changed. This means you do not need to worry about adjusting the settings after every pallet. An accidental bump of the screen will not upset your progress. Less time spent playing with the settings means more time for strapping.
Use Advanced Settings for More Precision with Each Job
Applications come in all shapes and sizes, so strapping them requires different approaches. The S-Series tools have both fixed speed tensioning, for fast-paced applications, and variable speed tensioning, which is ideal for more intricate jobs.
More Safety with the Colour Touchscreen
Touchscreens make it easier to use handheld strapping tools, but the lack of sensitivity of some screens is not a good fit for the warehouse or the plant. The operators may need to take off their gloves to operate the screen, which could expose them to risks. The S-Series tools’ colour touchscreen is both tough and durable while still sensitive enough that your team can use it with their gloves on.
Select Straps from a Database for Easy Setup
Each S-Series tool comes programmed with 10 standard strap configurations. The operators simply select the strap type and set the mode, which makes switching between strapping types quick and easy.
That is no problem if you need a custom setting. The current tension and welding settings can be saved as a custom database entry by touch of one button.
Automatically Monitor Maintenance for Long Life
